Thank you for taking the time to visit the website.  In 1993 Tricia and I had the privilege to begin this ministry right out of our home in Grants.  Since then we have labored to plant the seeds of the gospel in the hearts of people of all colors.  We are thankful for the dear people that have come our way.   We have moved the church from meeting in our home to our present location of using two store fronts.  God has blessed us with just over 12 acres of property debt free in the Grants area.  We are working toward the creation of our first worship center and other plans we have discussed with our church family.

Mt. Taylor Baptist has become a place where people can find friendships and love; a place where lives are established upon the promises of God's Word. As you view these pages and information, we hope you will understand our purpose, sense our love, and capture our vision for serving the people of this region and for introducing them to Jesus Christ in a church founded upon the unchanging truths of the Bible.
